Hm I don't know why my April 19th post was a smiley face. There was nothing to be smiley about that night since it was freakishly warm and the packing was still last minute and all the going overseas for 7 weeks thing and the humidity... Anyway, that was April 19. It's now April 22, 4th day in Dalian, the rain finally stopped yesterday and it's sunny now! The wind is still freezing though. There's LAN in the dorm room now. What would we do without the internet. Can I just add that the local people here are quite different from how I thought they would be. Not a bad thing hor. There are all these random planes flying over the campus cos we're just beside the airport.

School has begun, but who is in the mood to study. It feels like an overseas holiday, but it's not. It's an overseas study trip with just some part of a holiday. But log in to esp.sp.edu.sg and all the assignments are there in full force barking at you to get them done. Way to help us get adjusted into Dalian life.

The food here is in humongous portions, the seasonings in excess but is "relatively affordable" aka "c-"... You get it ya.

AND, to all the Singapore friends, I've heard from Wei Liang that you all suffered from withdrawal symptoms with us not around in SP! (Okay maybe not so serious, but there's something right!) Well, from Dalian, we all miss you guys a lot too!
