The aftermath.
@ 12.20pm
****: 'Hello this is _____ calling from ____________, here to remind you that your appointment is at 2pm today.'
Me: 'Ok I'm sorry but I won't be going as this is very suspicious. I received no notification from my Polytechnic about this.'
****: 'Oh so you want to know how we got your contact information right, basically it's from various contacts we have etc etc.'
Me: 'But how can you expect me to go when I have not a hint on what this is all about? I will be putting myself at a risk right?'
****: 'Ok our company is expanding and we are in need of more manpower.'
Me: 'But I don't understand anything about your company, and I cannot just take your word for it. It will be too dangerous.'
****: 'Alright thanks then... something something'
(his voice suddenly turned so soft, couldn't really catch what he was saying. Probably swearing. Haha)
Ok this is roughly the conversation between me and that job scammer person. I also asked him what his company deals with exactly but he just said he isn't quite sure as he's just one of those responsible in calling people.
WTF. Doesn't he even feel ashamed for bluffing about what the company does and perhaps even bluffing about the company's name.
Nevermind. Let this be another life lesson learnt.
Ok fullstop this.
