The demented part of life.
Where's the elation that will last from 11:10am till late that is suppose to take place today? Probably drained away from the making of the new passports. The Dalian gang headed to Lavender to make new passports cos the photos in our old passports are, well, old. New biometric passports on the way. Thing is, we might not be able to collect it at the earliest date, which is next Wednesday, due to ITP. We're working working hours and it clashes with things that run during working hours (and only working hours). Such is the realism of life. Like how a company can just suddenly turn their backs and reject all the students that it wanted initially for attachment. KFC/Pizza Hut is one such example. I should mention again that it was the company that wanted two students for attachment. Did anyone placed a chainsaw on their throats and forced them to say yes? I don't think so. Somehow, just somehow, something occurred and they cancelled last minute. But as a gesture of politeness, they added a "might be taking in one student instead" which can just be read as "bullshit". Thankfully Ser still had placements and it's at Health Sciences Authority. I know, the economy is bad, but cancelling last minute is quite irresponsible. They are just taking chances, reserving the students first in case they need them and suddenly not taking any at all if they think they just don't want to. Of course this is just what I think happened. Who knows.
I saw a huge rainbow yesterday. (okay apparently yesterday was rainbow day). A huge complete rainbow. The ones that stretch from one end to the other without any breaking or clouds covering it. In this case, it stretched from Pasir Ris Park to Pasir Ris MRT station and all seven colours can be seen really clearly and it was quite spectacular. It towered over the sky, and over the whole of Pasir Ris. A sight to behold and a blessing from above indeed.
And today is the last day 2A24 is together before we split up for Dalian. Byesobbye. One class photo here... then look through your Facebook for the other memories. Yea Cass tagged the majority, since she's bored every other day. LOL.
