Buried Treasure.
Spring cleaning is good, because it allows you to find old stuff that you thought you lost. Then you realise you find no need for it and throw it away anyway. But that's not the point. Look what I uncovered: Memories of my entire 4 years in secondary school. A very very brief one though.
PRCS haters need not read on! (HAHAHAHA)Temperature logbook. This was in Secondary 1, during the SARS period. Nation-wide scare, and the best precaution is to take your temperature every morning and record it down. Head home if you had a temperature above 37.2 degrees C, or is it 37.4. Anyway it was during the morning assembly and everyone took out their thermometers, the beep beep sound echoed all over the place, and students had to buy disposable thermometers if they forgot to bring their own. Not really a good time.
Reminds me that my first CCA was not entirely bad. I think my teacher in charge had some connections with the judges, because she knew some of the NP students (where this competition was held) and also probably because our idea was wacky enough because we initially were not interested in this, so we came up with... something I find was quite lame. I mentioned this before. Haha.
NYAA Bronze. PRCS forces every student to take NYAA Bronze. How cool is that. No I'm not being sarcastic. It's really cool.
What everyone dreads. CCA during the holidays. Note the words below the table, the 'compulsory' and 'MC'. I think you all can figure out what the letter was trying to say about attendance, yes? Heh. This was after SYF too, so.. Practice so much for what?!
Ten Year Series! Company for the studying for the O Levels, because, you know, we have to do them. And the brown book is the Bio textbook, which everyone is 4/7 probably stopped bringing to school since.. Sec 3?
Annual school magazines, school newsletters.. Who doesn't like free publications? For the newsletters, flip to the last page to see the new teachers, then flip back to the front page and doodle on James Ong's face.
Prelims. The prelude to the O Levels. Where everyone starts the counting down to the Os. 100+ days, then in a blink of an eye, 10+ days, then in another blink of an eye, it's the day after. Stress.
With school, there will be friends. 1/7, 2/7, 3/7, 4/7. Doris Lee, Nancy Ng, Nancy Ng, and.. Nancy Ng.
And with hard work there is :)
